Holland struck first, taking the opening set 25-21, but the Tommies responded with authority, dominating the second set 25-8 to even the match. STU carried that momentum into the third, gaining the edge, but the Hurricanes fought back to claim the fourth set 25-22 and force a decisive fifth.
With the game on the line, the Tommies took control in the final set, sealing the victory and defending home court in a thrilling five-set battle.
