The St. Thomas University Tommies secured first place heading into the playoffs after back-to-back victories over Mount Saint Vincent University this weekend.

On Saturday, Paige LeBlanc delivered a standout performance, finishing with 15 points while adding three rebounds and three steals to help power STU to a 65-60 win. The Tommies showed composure down the stretch, locking in defensively to protect the five-point lead.

The momentum carried into Sunday’s Game 2, where STU once again defeated MSVU. LeBlanc matched her scoring output with another 15-point performance and added three steals, continuing to impact both ends of the floor.
